I use a knut with the caralink 3 wraps (armor plus) 24" and it's a great! Best tether for the wrench I have found.

I just bought xstatic. I have not climbed on rope yet. I’ll be using a rope wrench and SRT is what that rope is all about. So far all I have done is practice knots, set up a bazooka rope, and went up about six feet and just hung out. Hoping the Teufelberger is more static than the bazooka. The bazooka will still be good rope. I can tell getting my legs involved is important at my age and condition.

I like tools too but a simple flat head screw driver and hammer will knock the clutch loose with ease. There is a flat slot on the clutch for just that reason.

Those notch and sherril biners are terrible..for me its petzl ball lock..ct pillar with keeper and dmm perfect o

Ct pillar ..is overall cheaper price and great for small hands has a keeper and grip to grab gate open..its my favorite..besudes the mini perfecto..it wins on size only though .if the pillar was size of the dmm it would beat it.

Great review. As a safety manager for a utility company, we have started to migrate to these Kask helmets as well. OSHA also put out a bulletin in Nov 2023 as to why these helmets are superior in various industries to current hard hats. Also, OSHA has transitioned all of their field personnel to wearing Helmets with chin straps versus hard hats. All my people complain about the heat, but I've told them the same thing, vented hard hats to not meet the Class E rating for electrical protection. KASK is also developing an Arc rated face shield for us as well.

I have the Hyperclimb rope and love it. Seems to flatten a little with mechanicals other than that it’s been good. My question is does the Blue Moon seem more rugged than the Hyper? They are the same construction but may vary in material quality. Also I have a Scandere rope but don’t like it due being too stretchy. Thanks

Try some yale xtc 16 strand its one of my all time favorites. I use it in srt and drt, its proven to be super durable and knots really well great hand feel.

Just bought and used one today with foot ascender and chest lanyard. Absolutely love it and found adjustments easy to make on two different ropes.
